Froch on why he's NOT a Ali fan

He said Ali is a great fighter, one of the greatest.. hes just not a personal fan of his, doesnt care for his fighting style, figthing off the ropes... said he likes roy jones speed and quickness or someone who fights in the trenches and goes to war... said Ali has had a few of those, but just didnt care for his hanging on the ropes etc etc...

But still recognized hes one of the greatest fighters..

The thing is that Roy never did that until he faded and neither did Ali. I can respect that too. I just didn't like Ali because he was a naive ****** when it mattered the most. It is sad to me that he is more insightful now in his old age. He realizes now that all that garbage he was fed was exactly that. Garbage.

Actually, he does kind of. He's just not as fast as Roy was. Carl likes to leave his hands by his side rather than stand in the traditional stance. He's a cobra, ready to strike at any time.

That's true but you take away Roy's speed and you end up with a fighter half as good. Tbh it's amazing what Carl has been able to achieve with what he's been dealt.
