Comments Thread For: Lewkowicz Responds To Caballero's Contract Claims

Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing disputes the recent claims that were made by WBA featherweight champion Celestino Caballero, who claims that he never received a contract to fight mandatory challenger Mikey Garcia on July 28th at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. Garcia has already signed his contract. Although Lewkowicz is not the promoter of either boxer, he secured the rights to promote the fight by winning the WBA's purse bid, held on May 3, with a winning submission of $440,000.

POPS I have a question. All the reports say the same thing-that Mayweather Promotions has NO promoter licence. (Also that they have an unlisted phone). So how can they be Caballero's promoter?

So many imbeciles on this site frothing at the jowls over crappy little bits of nonsense, and by a word or two, you could settle it all. Is it more suitable for your site that they keep churning away at inanities even when confirmation is all out there.

I've seen a couple of times lately where you chipped in with little Wessie and straightened a few things out, so it seems as if even you are getting fed up with it. I like that, because we shouldn't have to plough through 11 pages of crap just to read one or two insightful posts. I'm a devil for punishment, but it's wearing me down. There should be policies against bare-faced lies, also ***-baiting disguised as Arum-hating. This last is very wearing on me. I'm surprised it's allowed.

Just today I was reading where both in the Senate and House, they are intending to present a bill to make it mandatory that internet posters reveal their full names, with accompanying confirmation. They've already proposed that in Israel.

Ae you saying that a man like Sampson wouldn't have $440,000. He's probably worth millions and doen't need to be involved with Mayweather. When the news broke, I asked how could Caballero be signed with Mayweather Productions when they don't have a licence and never had a licence. This info comes straight from the NSAC.

What Caballero says sounds just exactly right, and the reporter didn't need to inject an aggressive note into the report by saying that Caballero "disputed" the sending of the contract. All that happened was that Lefkowicz made a mistake and sent it to the wrong people, and Caballero re-directed him to the correct receiver. Nothing disputative about it.

          Is that difficult to understand?
