A fight between WBC featherweight titlist Jhonny Gonzalez and former 122-pound beltholder Daniel Ponce De Leon has been confirmed for the Sept. 15 pay-per-view undercard to Saul Alvarez vs. Paul Williams, according to Eric Gomez Vice President and head matchmaker of Golden Boy Promotions. The card takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

oh yes, good fight, a festival of hooks and uppercuts. Jhonny isn't going to be able to contain himself at the openings Ponce presents, he gets drawn into wars and obviously has been down many times. still go with him to win it tho

i still probably wont buy the ppv. it's way too early for canelo to headline a ppv card. certainly not against a guy like williams, who is so badly faded

Jhonny will make easy work of the chinny de leon. Espinoza post here he is dum manager dont know why he would take this fight only to cash out ponce. He could of gotten an easy tittle vs dib or fight john a very winnable fight seing how john is slowing down.
