Vargas / Mosley - who wins?

I think at this point Mosley wins by UD unless Vargas can show some of the fight he used to have in him.....man a few years back this would have been very exciting IMO.

I think Vargas would have been better off taking the Mayorga fight even though Mayorga would probably KO him. Mosley wins a rather easy UD as Vargas is gonna be nothing in the late rounds.

I have to say Mosley off his last fight. He was a little more active in throwing punches, but both are truly gun shy. This is one fight I hate to even predict because its really matter of who shows up.

I'm taking Vargas although I think it is a 50/50 pick'em fight.

Shane has trouble with tall fighters and I think this will be no different. Shane still appears gunshy and not willing to let his hands go and Shane will feel Vargas' jab and power early.

If Vargas plays it safe and throws quick 1-2's He should win.

A prime Mosley would of battered Vargas into submission.

Mosley by decision around 116-112. If he lets his hands go more than he has lately then I would say he stops Vargas late.

Vargas by split decision in a close fight. Neither man is what they used to be, but Mosley's power has faded, along with ability to throw combos and move his head. A no-namer was taggin Mosley a good bit in his last fight. At least Vargas won vs a top 10 guy at 154, even if he did look average. Vargas with the power and accuracy will connect with the now stationary Mosley enough to outpoint him narrowly.

honestly who cares? i dont mean to make fun of ur thread or anything. but 3 years ago, this would've been the fight to watch, or mayb 4 years ago. but now, omg, its nothing.

if i had to pick i'd pick umm...... mosely , simply cuz of his speed. i could pick vargas considering his last 2 outings r slightly better than moselys

kinda funny how ppl didn't think that mosely hasn't had a TKO/KO since July 2001
