Actually Bio, the smart thing for him to do would have been NOT to take 'other' supplements behind his nutritionists back... especially given the nature of his 'nutritionist'. I mean, why hire the guy, and then lie (or omit) to him about what your taking? Because he knew it was obviously something Conte would have told him to stop taking.Just saying, why use something that would stay in your system for that long if what Conte said is true? If Berto actually KNEW the stuff was in his body, the smart thing to do would have been to further postpone the fight right? Phantom injuries, purse disputes, logistic issues, etc...
None would have been the wiser and at the very worst people consider him a duck or scared, but probably not assuming he's cheating.
Ego or ******ity, Berto wasn't willing to be 100% with his own guy. Why?Comment

You're so simple minded... God people are ******s around here nowadays. Maybe there's someone or something involved in this whole thing and his lawyer doesn't want him to say anything about it? Maybe you missed the last part saying "truth coming soon"? Maybe there's something more to his case than what we know, just maybe?Comment

Right.^^^this^^^
I am not convinced that Berto knowingly cheated. He does have some things in his favor.
1: Very Very trace amounts of the drug was in his system, which could come from contamination.
2: The drug itself, does not seem like one that someone would try to use, since it stays in a person's system so long.
I personally have a gut feeling that he is innocent in all this.
If I was a drug user my first line of thinking would be "How long does this stuff stay in my body". Why go with that when Berto has the resources to get more effective stuff. It just makes no logical sense.
With Peterson I just don't buy the "My Doctor didn't fully explain what was going in my body" excuse. That sounds like a deflection of blame. The testing party supposedly even gives the fighters the opportunity to disclose if they are on anything banned, for a medical reason. They would check it, and if it checked out everything is good. But the Peterson camp act like they had something to hide.Last edited by Biolink; 05-23-2012, 04:57 PM.Comment
