Mike Tyson made me interested in boxing. (its a VERY small sport in Norway) and now in later years it has been Manny Pacquiao who made me a die hard fan, at least i consider myself that.

But the fighter that I think I got my fighting style from was Holyfield. I saw him fight Foreman and I've stuck with that fight the bigger man toe to toe style since.

I was already a fan of boxing, but he sealed the deal. The rest is history.

I read your quote about Iverson, I don't know if he had faster hands,

but overall his speed is very very very very fast. He is probably the fastest NBA player to ever exist.

Sadly his prime was cut short by his lack of work ethics. I don't know if you felt the quote was funny because you never watched AI or you do feel his speed is on par.

I don't think he was faster then RJJ, but that's like saying a cheetah isn't as fast as a 'super cheetah' their still both ****ing cheetahs

Was a casual fan by the Duran/SRL fight. Became hardcore for the Sanchez/Gomez fight.

Something about Sanchez style and aura got me into the sport. Its a tragedy that he died so young cause I was really looking foward to his fights and the possibilities of matches available to him

he did. the way he said it was ******ed, so ******ed it was made into a quote.

But the fact remain, Iverson is the fastest NBA player to ever exist in terms of hand speed and foot speed.

At least according to the vast majority of nba Hall of Famers.

Once again saying the fastest NBA player to ever exist is slower then RJJ,

is believable since RJJ was a freak of nature

but Iverson was in many ways even more so.. or at least equal to RJJ in terms of surreal abilities

This guy was 6 feet 160 pounds and going down the lane against Shaq and dropping 45 points.

80% of Iverson's points were from drives and lay ups.. That is a huge amount of points for a 6 footer who just drive non stop. Without blinding foot speed and hand speed he would not even have made it to the NBA much less be one of it's hall of famers at his size

Oscar was my favorite fighter to watch initially but I didn't become a boxing fan because of him, so it's definitely Bernard Hopkins, man was a beast.
