Dont get me wrong, I dont think boxing should be pussified to where they loose their license for a small brawl. But at the same time its pretty sad that is whats needed to sell fights these days. Chisora was robbed against Helenius and he gave Vitali his toughest fight since Lewis. Plus everyone loses to the Klitschkos so it doesn't really matter. Chisora is an exciting top fighter and the public recognizes it. Calling Chisora simply "that guy that lost his last 3 fights" is dumb.

The average klitschko opponent barely gets a million. I remember Valuev asking for 1.5 Mill just to fight vitali.

To make 3.5 without fighting a Klitschko is pretty bada$$. This will be added to the ridculous 50/50 deal he had wiith Wlad last year.

Valuev was offered $2.5 mill to fight Klitschko and badly wanted to accept it. But Don King wanted $4 mill so the fight fell through.

Also, what confirmation do we have that Haye is getting $3.5 mill. Anything either he or his manager say must be confirmed. they are notorious liars. If not confirmed than it's just a Haye dodge to try to show that he doesn't need the BBCofC. This would be typical.
