I remember him best for his fight on the Lewis - Briggs undercard vs Herol Graham. He broke afew English hearts that night because Herol came so close and had scored two knockdowns over Brewer but just when Charles looked like he was finally gonna to be stopped, he caught Herol on the ropes and suddenly he unloaded a barrage of hooks and the ref stepped in. Fair stoppage but gutting because Herol came so close but the Hatchet showed the heart of a champ that night. Getting up off the canvas twice in the 3rd round.

He looked great when winning the IBF title from that South African and went 12 with prime Calzaghe.

Charles Brewer had a career in the I.T. world back when he was an up n' comer. Instead of feeling sorry for him, you should be happy to hear the dude has something to fall back on- as opposed to most boxers who are lost when their fighting days are over. Also as opposed to everyone on here who have typical jobs/careers without ever having been world champion boxers!
