Looking forward to the fight this weekend. By fighting Froch, Bute will show where he is and if he is on the same level as the "Super sixers".

And in regards to Dawson-Ward, Dawson is dropping to 168 after fighting at 175 for six years? If seen many fighters try this over the years and it rarely works out well.

Well I said it because Pascal uses his speed to spring in and out with punches, Ward does similar thing and is far faster than BHop at this stage.

Bro, you're trying to defend Dawson way too much. You said that Ward fought at 160-165 when he was a light heavy in the amateurs, can you give me a link to where you can prove this? Because from what I understand it's not even possible to fight in a weight class but then weigh in over 10 pounds under the weight limit. That makes absolutely no sense. Even IF that were the case, isn't that even MORE impressive if he weighed that less and he was fighting much bigger guys? Exactly. Your point really makes no sense at all.

Also, someone else in here said that Dawson is "bigger" then Ward, and? What does that matter? Styles make fights. And Ward is the MUCH more physical fighter, so Dawson's size really wouldn't come into play very much given the fact he's a predominant outside fighter, whereas Ward can fight just as well outside as he can inside. And, I'd bet my bottom dollar that Ward will go straight inside on Dawson and smother him. I'm a fan of Ward, but I'm not biased. But when I see people making invalid points and saying things that make no sense at all I have to speak up.

The only slight edge Dawson may have is speed, and he has a reach advantage. But reach doesn't matter all that much if you're being smothered. I enjoy watching Dawson fight and he is a damn good fighter, but so is Ward. All in all this is a good fight that we should all be hyped for.

Also, bro I like how you compared two fighters to one. Haha I mean, really? You said "Kessler/Froch: Tarver and Tarver would smoke them!!!" I guarantee anyone would agree with me when I say that Froch and Kessler by themselves are better then the Tarver Dawson faced. If we were talking about the Tarver of like 04-05 that's one thing, but we're not. Either way, like I said this is a good fight at the highest level that I'm hyped for and I'd hope everyone else is too.

Adamek was in the top 5 and had a strap. Tarver was number 2 while johnson was 3 and bhop was top dog. The only one who was willing to fight Dawson was Johnson @ the time. And I disagree Tarver now would pick froch apart. Kessler would be a little different because he's a boxer first. As far as a link I'm not going to lie I don't have one, but I did follow the 2004 Olympics when ward won gold, and he had numerous interviews with his coaches and trainers, stating the ward is a true middleweight right now. That's why he started te pro ranks at middle weight to let his body grow into light heavy. Believe I don't like comparing fighters but I only do it when others do it. Nobody is downplaying Chad...But the knock on him exists for a reason. He's given people reason to second guess him time after time. Would you agree that he lost to GJ that first fight?? The second was a beautifully adjusted shut out but he lost the first one clearly. & even for him to come close to losing to a guy such as pascal is egregious at best. Point is...as of late after stepping into the lime...Ward has done nothing but make people eat their words & doubts. & back to your earlier post...I brought up Bika as an example a fighter who relies oupon strength to overpower & beat opps. Ward beat him at his own game. That fight makes me confident Chad's size won't be a problem. Again...Don't u find it curious that ward isn't mentioning bute or anybody else as a way around a guy who historically is a weak draw?? They are not worried at all...Ward responded immediately & now the fight is getting made. His whole team knows he can beat chad. & I agree. Chad is a great fighter but AW is all wrong for him ImO. He's a younger version of hopkins. He will neutralize Dawson all night. It's going to be a dominant performance. & chad will be right back to square one. He won't lose his titles I suppose. But He'll be viewed as weak mentally & emotionally. We'll see tho.

No. It wasn't as close in the Froch fight...He got away w/ one in their first meeting. Johnson looked like he hadn't even been in a fight. You guys must not really watch and understand boxing. Johnson's , Bhops, and tarver are use to using thier strength. Dawson is very physical and strong, whether you want to believe it or not. That's one of Dawson's best attribute! Dawson is physically a strong dude. How has ward be lighting the world on fire. He's fights are just as boring. Ward dominated Kessler just like Dawson dominated tarver twice. It was a rematch clause in the tarver Dawson fight because tarver was the champion. I bring this up because what makes Kessler a star and whom did he beat? He couldn't even beat the top guy calzaghe when Kessler was in his so called prime! Calzaghe was the same age when RJJ was dethroned by tarver. I don't want hear tarver is washed up. He just won a cruiser weight crown, and about to fight a top young lion lateef kayode, and if he beats him that makes dawson win look awesome just like adamek. Johnson gave cloud a tough fight and dropped down in weight to knock D level apponent Green and give Foch a tough fight. So Dawson is very deceptive, but I see why you guys give ward the edge. They are fighting most likely inOakland or in the Cali area, and Dawson is fighting at wards weight. So ward should have the edge. Also ward didn't jump to fight Dawson because of what you guys are saying. He could of fought Bute this weekend but he insisted on bute fight a live guy, which I agree. He didn't want to fight the younger Dirrell brother. That's why he was stripped of his belt. This the only fight out their for $$$

Johnson won at most one round more against Dawson than vs Froch, when younger and at his optimal weight. It seemed closer cause he was coming on strong late, while fading against Froch. But what would you expect when having to drop 7lbs at 40.
