Frazier by late round KO or one sided decision. Frazier was a great cruiserweight before that weight class was created. Toney was a great, sometimes extremely fat super middleweight. Frazier set a blistering pace and Toney did not hit hard enough to keep him off. Frazier would be all over him, giving Toney no time or room to breath. Toney had a great chin but he could not take the many left hook bombs Frazier would give him.
James toney vs joe Frazier :)

I think this to but toney despite why most people think was a good body puncher and he would make joe miss a lot specially hi left hook that Philly shell is perfect for blocking left hooks and and right hands Frazier had no right had to speak of really so toney would be on the look out for the left hook all night plus he would slip under it a lot so its more then just fraziers left hook and pace cause toneys smart he would find some way to slow down a bit I mean hell when you eat enough right hang counters it'll slow anyone down IMO but I have joe winning still just trying to even it up.Frazier by late round KO or one sided decision. Is this a joke? Toney was a great fighter, but I assume we are talking heavyweight, and Frazier would give Toney brain damage before knocking him out halfway through the fight.Comment

Toney is slick and Frazier did not have that good of a right as you say. I just remember the Frazier of the first Ali fight and it's hard to picture Toney holding up under an assault like that. Ali was a heavyweight great and he lost that fight and got hurt pretty good. Frazier KOed alot of heavyweights.I think this to but toney despite why most people think was a good body puncher and he would make joe miss a lot specially hi left hook that Philly shell is perfect for blocking left hooks and and right hands Frazier had no right had to speak of really so toney would be on the look out for the left hook all night plus he would slip under it a lot so its more then just fraziers left hook and pace cause toneys smart he would find some way to slow down a bit I mean hell when you eat enough right hang counters it'll slow anyone down IMO but I have joe winning still just trying to even it up.Comment

12 rounds of hell for Toney.
Frazier by stoppage in a 15 rounder.
A pressure fighter who never let up is just about the worst opponent for someone without legit heavyweight power. If you don't get rid of Frazier early, you're in for a long night.
Honestly, Rahman and Peter might hit harder than Frazier. Evander would be in the same ballpark.
The thing about Frazier as a puncher was that they kept their power, and they never stopped coming. His power is good, but some tend to overrate it.
Frazier's right hand was fine. He used it to good effect against every good fighter he fought except Ali and Foreman. Ali because it was the punch that nailed him the best and most consistently. Foreman... For obvious reason...Toney is slick and Frazier did not have that good of a right as you say. Smart azz :hahahaha9: I'm starting to seriously like your posts :chuckle9:Are you unfamiliar with Samuel Peter? He's an evolved puncher of the modern cut. A nightmare both by name and inside the ring.
Not sure Frazier could figure out the philly shell defense. That is just the nature of the game as the sport has evolved and new strategies with them.
No but really. Let James Toney keep his remaining fantasy fight days in a suitable weight class. He's been through enough.
