I think Sugar Ray Robinson is incredibly overrated. He left himself wide open. Although, to be fair, his prime years at 147 weren't filmed, according to his documentary.Comment

Corrie was a pretty badass hw bro. He didn't even train for fights and he was k.o'ing people with impunity. If Corrie had devoted his time to boxing instead of beer and golf, he would've been an ATG. I'm not even trolling. The guy had serious natural talent. Some of the fastest hands I've seen on a guy that big.Comment

If I am going to be frank I feel that it is silly comparing fighters who fought every other week to fighters nowadays. One could present the argument for the game today being a different sport, greater analysis on the opponent and greater conditioning.
I guess fighters back then were prepared to fight whilst fighters nowadays are prepare to fight a particular opponent.
That being said there are somethings that are just common sense. Someone like Baldomir will not beat SRR or Lamota, and in certain situations weight plays a crucial factor.Comment

I don't agree with the notion that Margs was good on the inside. In my assessment of Margarito what did I say that was inaccurate?
Was he not good at cutting of the ring?
Was he not a solid body puncher?
Did he not have a good uppercut?
Did he not put pressure on fighters?
Did he not impose his will and make his opponents fight his fight?
Was he not good inside fighter?
