good matchup...only thing is Bute doesnt move his head much and with a counterpuncher with a right hand and left hook like toney...its not gonna be a good idea to be stiff...Bute is no pushover and most likely would go the distance...He has good speed, activity and good body shots...he could possibly outwork Toney and pull a close decision, but both at their best at 168...Toney wins good power, speed, and counters well....Bute isnt as athletically gifted or as slick as Michael Nunn and Roy Jones

Stylistic nightmare for Bute. Not only is Toney the far more skilled fighter but his punch resistance has always been off the charts. Dude took flush punches from cruiserweights and heavyweights, Bute wouldn't do sh|t to him. Toney by wide UD.

I am a big Bute fan an although he is a great fighter at his best, Toney is a jerk. To be fair I think the Toney of the Iran Barkley fight would beat Bute so I voted for Toney. Bute is always in shape and Toney is very inconsistant. If Toney is even a little off then Butte wins. The Toney that fought Barkley would beat almost anyone at 168.
