Comments Thread For: Mikkel Kessler on Getting Dropped, By Green, Adjusting

Former super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler (45-2, 34 KOs) sent a big message on Saturday night when he knocked out Allan Green (31-4, 21 KOs) with a single left hand in the fourth round, to capture the WBC silver title at 175-pounds. RIGHT. I'm a Kessler fan, but he was visibly shaken. His wobbly legs were proof. Just be honest, Mikkel. People will respect you more. Was a Great straight right by Green. No need to lie.

I am a Kessler fan but Green knocked the snot out of him in the first round. And I would not be surprised if he gets brutally KOed himself at a 175 pounds.

Anyone who gets hit right can get dropped, simple as that. Kessler cleared up fast and took care of his opponent and that shows a champions heart.
