Did you read the article at all?

I don't think it's that straightforward. A neutral ref would've taken points off Ward for repeat headbutts, maybe even DQ'd him. Also Kessler began to land regularly later in the fight but couldn't see due to all the blood.

Kessler v Ward in Denmark would clear up any ambiguity. If Ward were to win that cleanly (incl. testing) he would go up in a lot of people's estimations.

Kessler vs Ward in Denmark would be great, but it's not going to happen. Ward will not take any test AND he's not going to fight outside of the US at all.

I know we talked about Kessler fighting up @ LHW before, and see how this big win over Green improved his stock? Plus gives him some flexibility with more option outside of Super Middle.

BattlingNelson I did some reading up on the Green-Kessler fight and found out that apparently it was made at a catchweight of 172. Minor detail, but IMO pretty disappointing (why does Kessler need a CW anyway vs a scrub like Green?)

so it's kinda dumb for the article to say Kessler's ready to take on the best @ 175 when the fight with Green was made at 172.

**I know minor detail in the grand scheme of things, but still, Kessler can weight in below 175 with no problem, why not just do that, oppose to making a Light Heavyweight bout @ 172 for both competitors.

I think we're going to see Kessler-Bute/Froch in the fall. Ward is busy with Dawson it looks like, and I'm sure Bute would love to beat another guy Ward did but possibly in better fashion. And if Froch upsets Bute, I'm sure he'd love to avenge that loss.
