lol the fact that "HE NEEDS MORE FIGHTS TO GET IN SHAPE" tells me what I always knew about Solis, he doesn't have the worth ethic which is sad because he has the talent and skills as well as the Power to make noise in that Heavyweight Division, he needs to do like Malik Scott and step away from boxing and rebuild his body from Top 2 Bottom:

then come back faster and with better stamina, that has to be embarrassing especially when it is beatiful women in the Crowd and your all out of shape

I was talking about his amateur career - when fought at 200 pounds. And he did own everyone, he was world champion something like 7 times.

He obviously doesn't want to dedicate himself to being the best athlete he can be... or maybe life's got too easy since moving from Cuba.

He will be in better shape next time. Solis is a guy who has to fight regularly because he likes to eat. He has to fight all 3 or 4 months and lose weight. But he will NEVER wegh 225, i would be happy if he gets down to 240. Even at 240 he would be a force.
Well im happy that he knows that he has to get in better shape. But he also knew he could beat Airich without much effort.

Of Solis' 19 fights, in nearly all of them he's been anything from 15-40 lbs overweight from his lowest professional weigh-in. And even then, his lowest weight has been over 40 lbs more than in his stellar amateur heavyweight days.

So who knows what he'll amount to. A great opportunity is beckonong...if he'll take it.
You've got to be kidding right? Or is this one of those statements you make knowing the opposite to be true. Cause not only is this writer's characterization of Solis' not factual (opinion) but it borders on being totally and blatantly dishonest. To say a fighter hasn't won in over a year without stating the fact that he hasn't had a fight in the same amount of time is obviously an attempt to draw a slanted narrative of the fighter. And to say that Solis had a poor showing in his last fight when he blew out his ACL in the first round is quite disingenuous. And from what I remember Solis boxed well for as long the match lasted. The writer could've just as easily said Solis got injured in his last fight but instead he chose to claim Solis had a "poor showing". This guy has an agenda against Solis, obviously. IMHO Klitschko behaved like a real ckqunt after the injury. He acted like he really ko'd Solis with a grazing blow, and that it was a legitimate win. It wasn't. And this "writer" hasn't stated any facts. Just slanted opinions from a person who obviously has an agenda.

Just got around to watching this fight - actually I didn't watch the whole thing because it painfully boring. Anyway, Solis sucks; that's the best I can put it. He fights in spurts (and that's being generous) is grossly out-of-shape and his movement is slow and plodding.

He was never in shape in the first place (except in the amateurs).
