There are some great Cuban fighters out there, Rigo, Gamboa, Lara, etc...but Solis is not one of them lol. He is a fat unimpressive slob in my opinion whose hurt leg saved him from a methodical beatdown from Vitali. I see nothing whatsoever impressive about Solis....granted I have not seen too much of him. Until he proves otherwise though, I do not see him being a champion.

I still find it hilarious people say "Solis was tagging Vitali. He was winning the fight." Oh yea? So was Corrie Sanders. Look at how that turned out. It's what Vitali does. He adapts. Then he administers violence accordingly. Solis is nothing. He'll be fighting on Prizefighter in a few years.

You realise that example is from 2004? That's the last time someone did as well against Vitali as Solis was doing.

It's not necessarily that he was gonna win, it's that he was gonna make it interesting. Unlike most of Vitali's opponents who don't have a damn show from the starting bell to the merciful finish.

Solis was mismanaged the first time. Maybe this time hell get the necessary experiance before jumping into the title shot.

Solis had on ok round, but that bit of success wouldn't have lasted the whole fight. Vitali would have run away with it because he adapts and kills. Also Solis couldn't even stop Airich tonight. Even Tye Fields managed to do that.

The point with Solis being a competitive fighter against Vitali, is that stylewise it matches up well an actually suits him better.

There Is a correct way and an incorrect to fight a big guy like Vitali, Its off the back foot, using straight shots. Solis has this skill and the technique to make Klitschko look very odd..
Like he did in that 1st round, he was winning.

Yeah, but the point is that guys who trouble the Klitschkos are very few and far between.

Even that degree of success is rare. It could've have shaped up to be an okay fight.

Why are you talking about Vitali

as if he is a prime lennox lewis ?

I am seriously ****ing confused as ****

Vitali is a former steroid using robo cop that have managed to duck every major HW of the 90's until they are all retired or shot/old. He is taking advantage of the weakest era in boxing history

not just in hw history but boxing history.

I love it how you and others think he got skills (along with Wlad) when the only live fighter he ever fought

was a old shot fat overweight under trained under motivated semi retired walking corpse Lennox Lewis

who still managed to put Vitali on ****ing ***** street in the 6th and woulda brutally ko Vitali if the doctors didn't stop the fight

The skeleton of Lennox Lewis was tagging the **** out of Vitali during the last 2 rounds, causing ROIDTALI to be clinching for dear life.

Solis is a bum as well btw
but don't talk about Vitali as if he is someone special when his biggest win

is a ****ing win over Corrie Sanders

Dude Sanders is a god damn golfer

the only reason he fought Wladimir was cuz he needed money for the golf clubs
