    Has Guerrero improved since Salido?

I only ask cuz I just watch Salido vs Lopez, and Guerrero vs Katsidis...

So I looked up their fight, and saw in the comment section that Salido apparently tested NEGATIVE on a second drug test, which kinda makes me think (if true) he beat Guerrero fair and square

Ignoring Guerrero's new fill out in size, do u think he could beat Salido in a rematch... Has his skill gotten any better

He did look sluggish, but its hard to say whether that was him or Salido (if u get what I mean)

I know this isn't a popular thread topic, and probably won't get much feedback, but worth a shot... Hopefully there's a few all around boxing fans left

I don't think we should be cool with Salidos steroid use just because he's had a couple of awesome fights. Pissing hot doesn't happen on accident. With that said, I don't think the steroids are what frustrated Guerrero in that fight. Salido just fought smart. I like both guys. To be honest though, Guerrero is a very different fighter now. Much smarter, has developed a stifling jab, and his timing and balance have improved tremendously. I'd pick him against Salido today, all things being equal.

It's hard to say...I think that he has, but he's always been damm good....he's at a skill level that already puts him above a lot of other guys even though he has been off and on as far as his activity in recent times. he looked incredibly sharp in that Katsidis fight early on so he obviously was spending time in the gym getting better.....he fought a guy who was going to try to put him on the ropes like Salido did in that fight - he fought much better off the ropes but he still conceded ground so I think that will always be an issue with him against really aggressive fighters who punch and setup the way they come in.....Katsidis doesn't punch on his way in, he only throws once he's all the way inside...so it was target practice up the middle for Guerrero. Salido is a lot trickier, so I think it would still be a good fight if they were similar sizes now...I would take the Ghost now though for sure. i believe that the 2nd set of tests that Salido took showed he was negative, for whatever thats worth

Guerrero is slept on but he's coming off injury now and his accomplishments dont match his skill/talent....all types of life circumstances, so it's been a slowww road for him. he will have a good 2nd half to his career if the injury doesn't hurt him, outside of that he is still pretty fresh

Unfortunately he hasn't fought or trained for anyone with salidos style since then. SOmeone who gets low and comes up hooking, or goes at a blistering pace. So, in theory, we have no idea how he'd fair today. The style may be all wrong for him with or without steroids.

Geurrero is still a B level fighter

Salido is a tough match-up for him bcse he's relentless but unlike Kats he's got boxing savvy
