No, Williams beat Ishida in a one-sided affair

I got Williams beating Canelo, call me crazy, I don't care. Paul Williams is still a Top 10 SWW and a good fighter. It's a good fight for Canelo. It's the kind of step ups that people want to see from Canelo. Williams can still fight, would still give tons of fighters problems with his hand speed and work rate.

I wondered whether or not they's throw Kirkland in with another tough opponent, and it looks like they're doing a tune-up, that's fine. He's coming off a major injury that he fought 10 rounds with last March. No need to rush him.

It would only hurt JK if he goes in sooner than he should. His time will come for sure.

Canelo Lara wouldn't be apt for a PPV. Only the hardcore know who Lara is.
That being said, I don't think Golden Boy would put him up against the Cuban even if he was a star.

And just like Mosley if he beats the next guy on your list, you're going to make up another name.

What are you talking about lol

We already established two days ago that Kirkland wouldn't make the September deadline.

I recommended that instead of fighting Kirk in Sept, do it in November during the Mexican Revolution holiday, instead. That way Kirk can heal and Canelo can still catch a Mexican holiday.

You were quick to point out what Team Canelo can and can't do lol

So what did you tell me lol

yeah, it was a good decision for Kirkland honestly. The guy is not 100% after the injury so a tuneup fight or two and he should be ready next year. I dont think they will match canelo against lara..not many people know Lara and this kid is bringing in revenue right now..pretty sure they want the big $$ fights. I am not a big Canelo fan, but he looked good against mosley and put in some work and took some big punches from the old man..
