Southpaw Terry Flannigan is the new English super-featherweight champion with a comprehensive point’s victory over Dougie Curran in Manchester earlier tonight.
The 22 year-old, who was 13-0 going into his first title bout, never looked in danger as he racked up round after round and was robbed a knockdown in the final round as a right hand caused Curran to touch the canvas.
