People can say Williams is done but he is still young and can hurt most guys. I think Canelo is making a huge mistake here. I love it as a boxing fan and I give the kid credit, but Golden Boy can say goodbye to their hype job/cash cow if this fight gets made! P.Will will light Canelo's a$$ up.

This would be a difficult fight by far the toughest in canelos career say what u want about williams but nobody is lining up to fight him even now. He is still one of the top fighters in the game. Much more difficult fight then kirkland. This fight is too good to be true no way this happens.

I'm a big Canelo fan and I don't like Williams but I think this is gonna be a tough fight for Canelo because of Williams' style. The volume of punches will give Canelo problems but he will pull through and score a late stoppage or a clear decision. He'll take some damage in this fight.

My thoughts exactly! It's a great match-up. He's by far the best person Canelo's faced and it's a good step up from grandaddy Mosley.

If he'd just announced he was fighting Cotto, then everyone would be saying he doesn't deserve a shot yet cz he hasn't fought anyone good? It's beyond belief. Yeah he's been hyped-up, but he's only 21 or 22 or whatever and he needs time to live up to it. I like this fight.
I'd also like Lara, Kirkland or Molina, but this is the one they've announced, so why hate?
So what Williams got dropped by Maravilla? Kirkland got anihilated by a journeyman, doesn't make him 'shot' or 'a bum' lol!
