I don't get how its strange. Same reason many athletes get drug tested even though they're doping, they believe they'll be able to get away with it.

I don't think he was trying to cheat. He wouldn't submit himself to such advanced testing. But he was caught using banned substance, now he has to fight his way through this and clear his name. I think any one who's looking at this with a cool head, realizes Peterson was not trying to cheat.

Peterson's team knew they can beat the T/E ratio of 4:1 that is used to test for testosterone. That's why his was adjusted to 3.77:1.

I guess nobody told Peterson's team that VADA actually uses CIR on all their urine tests. CIR detects any synthetic testosterone.

Everything so far points to guilt. The guy gets a surgery done to implant testosterone and did not remember until after the B sample tested positive and he was forced into a corner? He did research before getting this done and still does not know it's a steroid? Why did the doctor adjusted the release to 3.77:1 which is just under the 4:1 that is detected by T/E tests? Why didn't the doctor just give him the 1:1, which is the normal amount? I think this story he is giving out has been concocted from the start as the excuse when and if he gets caught. It's like a backup plan to getting caught. When you cheat, you need to create an excuse when you get caught.

Low natural testosterone like that on a young male is an indication of someone who has been taking artificial testosterone for a long time, the natural testosterone production drops off.

He didn't test positive for their first fight, so why should the titles be handed back to Kahn without fighting for them.
