I doubt it. Mayweather usually has his hands up and his chin tucked in, even when moving in. I doubt it would have hit him, and if it did, not nearly with the force it his Morales with.
Morales is quite slow compared to Mayweather, but he's also excellent with timing punches and such.
I can't believe you are pooling Mayorga and Morales together here...
Morales is an all-time great, one of the 3 best 122 pounders of all-time, and will undoubtedly be in the top 80 p4p fighters ever by the end of his career (well maybe not undoubtedly but in my opinion).
I felt like I needed to defend my boy there.
Also, Raheem has quick hands and is a very slick fighter. 135 is a good weight for him and he'd give a lot of fighters at that weight a lot of trouble. Styles make fights
EDIT: No Mayweather probably would have dodged that punch.
Actually the point of my thread is that you can be a champ and not have great reflexes/defense. I was arguing with Slipx this weekend as he was sayung that the only person who can beat Mayweather must have astonishing reflexes like Floyd.
I just disagree. And Morales doesn't have those gifts like Floyd, but he's still a solid fighter. Slipx was implying that if you're not as naturally gifted as Floyd, you must suck.

Looks like Raheem telegraphed that punch. No double pumps or anything. He wound up his punch and swung.
The clip is slowed down, but Morales was looking at him punching.

No Floyd wouldnt get hit by that punch and its a real easy question to answer. When do you see Mayweather charging someone like that in desperate fashion like Morales did?
But the point of this thread was to counter Slipx who was saying Castillo nor Corrales never had a chance because "they weren't as physically gifted" and their "defenses aren't together."
You can still be a solid fighter without a great defense. Thats my point for Slipx. No one was saying this to him this weekend (actually OG posted here what I was trying to tell Slipx).

Ya when its slowed down looks like Morales didnt think it would knock him back,he did see it coming but it seems like he wanted to make something happen off the punch.Maybe make Raheem think he was landing at will(which he was) and get over confident.Maybe let his guard down, showboat a little.Truth is Morales was losing bad and he was desperate.
