Mayweather is the smartest fighter in the sport... Marquez is second and Ward is next. But no matter what, Pacquiao has an amazing record as well. He fights with alot of heart. Too bad there aren't other fighters like Cotto or JMM who can give these guys trouble. We can disagree on much but we can agree that these two MIGHT be the best 2 to ever do it... What a great run for both men!

Is it just me or does this not sound like the typical responses coming from Manny?

It might have been an interview in Tagalog and translated cause I am not used to detailed responses from Manny in English.

I was thinking the same thing. When AA or southern American guys talk with and make grammatical mistakes, it shows up--as stated--in the articles. They made this guy speak the Queen’s English like Tony Robbins.

Pac can speak his own mind better through his own first language. Take note, English is Pac 3rd language still even if the interview is in English you will never see Pac lookdown on his opponents but praised them. My point is...if someone interview you in Pac native language Im sure you will sound like a retartded.

Nah homie... Go watch the interview on YouTube. When they lost PAC blood at the hospital and they came and took blood from him on Thursday or Friday before the fight. PAC said he was weak and Morales said he didn't feel PAC power. PAC said he will feel my power in this fight(meaning their second fight). The interview was done in the Philippines. You see what happen to Morales in the second and third fight!!! That's the main reason why PAC didn't want to get blood taken away from him days before the fight with Fraud(during the first negotiation).

Good article, asked good questions. I'm sure those were manny's true translated words/feelings. He has to give respect to Marquez because that dude is like some kinda manny pacquiao balancer or equalizer. They do have one of the best trilogies in boxing history. Plus they are just well respected dudes. JMM is one of Mexico's most popular of all times while Pacquiao is unequivocably philippines greatest sports figure ever! Good to see that kind of sportsman ship coming from an already all around good human being.
