Williams....outside of a KO what type of shot would Kirkland have? He still has yet to go 12 rounds.

Just keeping it simple...P Will could either wear him down slowly or win on the cards...his work rate and lack of D almost ensures a close fight almost every time out. outside of a bunch of knockdowns, Kirkland isnt ready to win on the cards if it happened to go the distance.

I think Canelo can neutralize Kirkland and coast to an 8-4, 9-3 decision or score a late round tko.
You read my mind, except if he fought Kirkland, I expect an KO by Canelo. Kirkland, he's open for the picking if Canelo can weather the storm

          Both have a good shot

canelo is famous/an attraction/ a ticket seller but there is no denying the fact that he was gifted a belt and has had easy defenses

there were more deserving boxers available to fight for canelo's belt but him and his team with the help of the wbc (vanes already fought elimantor, then kirkland and angulo, and now lara vs ? will fight an elimantor) have chosen the path of least resistance

so as chinny as kirkland has looked, he is still a step up in comp for canelo. which is bizzare with how many media outlets rank canelo only behind floyd at 154 lbs. the truth of the matter is that canelo has not faced anyone to warrant his ranking at the top of 154lb let alone a title belt

williams would win quite easily. paul has a problem with the southpaw stance put him in with a right handed boxer he will outwork him and especially against a boxer who fights in spurts (canelo)

          williams would win by tko

im not as confident in kirkland mainly because of chin but if i was force to pick i would pick kirkland to win by tko but just not as confident about it as i am with williams

Judges love Williams style for some reason. Seems like he steals all the close rounds just of the number of punches he throws.

He's tough to beat on the scorecards for anybody, Imo

Williams still has a good chin. He took tons of bombs from Lara and didn't wobble once if I remember correctly. Kirkland will get KO'd.

Plus I don't think Canelo has ever fought someone who's bigger than him. This will be a first.

I would favor Williams over both Kirkland and Canelo.

Canelo wears Williams down over the rounds wwith body punches and Kirkland is too one dimensional and possibly get's KO'ed!!
