A massive 71 percent of the public would pay to watch David Haye's big heavyweight showdown with Dereck Chisora, a poll held on the Daily Mail online revealed.

The bitter rivals meet in the ring on Saturday 14th July at West Ham's Boleyn Ground at Upton Park in one of boxing’s biggest ever grudge fights.

And only 29 percent didn't want to watch the fight which has become a hot talking point.

Since the pair met last week head-to-head for the first time to announce their fight, tickets have been selling fast with over 20,000 sold already.

Box Academy is a great idea and I hope the potential it has is realised. The large, padded unbeaten records is synonymous with the great British ' hype job '. I know the ' 0 ' is a selling point but I feel protecting certain fighters is only going to be detrimental to their progression. They can't get comfortable fighting British level opposition if they have dreams of reaching the world stage.

DeGale and Groves will both benefit from their early encounter and more of our prospects need to be matched hard.

Shame about Williams' withdrawal from the Theophane fight, Hamilton doesn't look like he'll offer much resistance. However, Ben Murphy did very well with the opportunity he was given.
