actually he didn't go out of his way to judge anyone at all. what he is going out of his way is to explain to everyone that he didn't say those derogatory things about gays.

everyone has their own opinion over what is honorable for God. heck people even debate IF there is a God or not or how many there are.
if i worried over what people thought about God and what is honorable, then i'd die a nervous wreck.
