Is 175 a fighter? Is he facing a guy called 168? No. We're discussing Chad Dawson here. If you can prove that Dawson is moving down to 168 because his HBO contract is paying him more to do so, then fine.

How can anyone prove that? You just use common sense to deduce that fighting Ward pays more than fighting an unknown guy like Cloud or Cleverley or whoever is at 175.

LOL@ actually thinking Dawson wants to move to 168. I seem to remember him refusing to come down to fight Kessler. Then after he'd beaten Tarver and realised Hopkins was going to keep ducking him, he started talking about 168 again because THATS WHERE THE MONEY WAS.

Chad Dawson has a contract with HBO that guarantees him a certain amount regardless of who he fights. There may be an increase based on revenue but, for the most part, these changes are negligible. I don't know what his bump is for a Ward fight. I'm pretty sure any excess cash would go to Ward. It would be "common sense" if Ward actually brought in extra money. He doesn't. And I'm pretty sure that excess cash won't come from...ticket sales. Just like I'm also pretty sure that this fact you're trying to pass off is opinion. And I don't agree. I'll leave it at that.
