Seriously. Why does Ward not just go up? There is a mess around the 168 WBC belt, just move up and fight for Dawson's belt. Plus it is a new belt in a new division. Chad also has the Ring belt too. Ward Dawson is a very good fight. Might it be boring?? Yeah, but still doesn't change the caliber of fighter competing.

they both have belts and they both are ring and lineal champs. imo it probably should be a catchweight. but theres no right or wrong direction for this fight for me.

when ppl say this fight will be boring its just an OPINION...saying a fight will be boring or who will win is what I call OPINIONS....the FACTS in this is that BOTH fighters are considered the BEST in their respected divisions and BOTH are coming off quality wins and most importantly, they're BOTH in their primes....if they can juggle the weight up to something like 172 then it would be a PERFECT fight IMO

can there be better fights made for them in their own classes?!?...of course, but if they're interested in each other, which seems to be the case, then I don't see why not!!....lets get it!!

I didn't freely admit it's boring I said it might be. But it doesn't change the fact that the 2 best prime, elite fighters separated by 1 weight class are fighting each other.

I prefer a fight like this than 2 superstars sitting in the same class ****ing round beating no-hopers on ppv, but that's just me.

It's fans that question fights like these that worry me.

A few things:

1. Ward has some big balls. Even if Dawson is coming down to 68, he's still got balls.

2. This fight won't be as boring as people believe. Both guys can fight outside or inside and Dawson might be faster than Ward. Ward can't just smother him and mug him inside.....he knows what to do in there.
