According to sources close to heavyweight prospect Deontay Wilder (21-0, 21 KOs), he will probably face the experienced Owen Beck (29-10, 20 KOs) on June 23rd. The fight will likely take place at the Killer Buzz Arena at the McFarland Mall in Alabama. Beck has lost his last seven in a row and six of them by knockout. In his last fight, he lost a four round decision to Sergey Rozhnov in Moscow. Rozhnov was making his pro debut.

I understand bring fighters along slowly and nobody is saying Wilder should stop in with a Top Heavyweight right now, but how about fight some other young and up and coming prospects who are trying to work their way up to the top also
