Juergen Langos recently judges 2 fights on a major card in Germany that was shown on Eurosport in the UK. The first bout was Goekalp Oezekler v Mouez Fhima, a bout that Fhima dominated from start to end but lost a majority decision. The card of Mr Langos favoured Oezekler 115-114.
Mr Langos then went on to score the European Cruiserweight Title bout between Alexander Alekseev and Firat Arslan. For this bout Langos scored the bout 116-113 to Alekseev, whilst the other two judges saw it as a draw (personally I felt Arslan won but that's not the point).
Now what makes me question these two score cards is Mr Langos' facebook. He is "friends" with Alexander Alekseev and Otkay Urkal, the trainer of Goekalp Oezekler. Whilst some may think it's an "innocent" thing or "just facebook" it does lead to really serious questions needing to be asked of Mr Langos, especially due to the Oezekler bout which was a scoring travesty.
