These are the 3 most profile fights for Sergio but not the hardest. If he prefers the a challenge to a payday then Ward would be tough fight but the big one for me would be against Golovkin. That would be the passing of the torch.
Since the Pavlik fight Martinez has been considered top dog at middle but at 38 the time would be right for Golvkin to take over as king. The guy has amazing power, great chin and holds amateur wins over Dirrel, Geale and Bute so the class is obvioulsy there. As soon as Golovkin gets rid of Sturm Martinez will be on his radar.Comment

why do ppl want him to fight mayweather? i know they are both two of the best p4p fighters in the world but does fair competition mean nothing?
floyd fought twice at 154, both times he clearly struggled carrying the weight. im not saying DLH and cotto in particular arent great fighters, fought well and deserve credit. they do. but floyd clearly wasnt himself. i dont want to see martinez drain himself and drop too far either.
id much rather see the two best fighters in a division fight eachother under even circumstances than two of the best p4p fighters where one has a major advantage.

I concur with the "Cotto/Mayweather/Chavez Jr." comments, but I doubt he'll get Cotto and Mayweather.
