    Please make this fight happen.

I know a lot of you instantly thought of Ortiz vs Cotto when Lampley or Merchant mentioned Ortiz's performance against Mayweather, and Emmanuel saying "Cotto is a better fighter than Ortiz".

I just went, hell no. This guy didn't just say that just because Cotto is having a better performance against a common opponent. I know Ortiz gives Cotto a tough fight, beats him. Canelo possibly beats both Cotto and Ortiz.

Fact is tho, Margarito's beating toward Cotto was 1000x more brutal then what Ortiz was going through vs Maidana. Ortiz-Maidana is almost a carbon copy of what Miguel Cotto went through vs Ricardo Torres and Miguel Cotto fought through the storm and came back to score a KO, and Cotto has never claimed to "not deserve to take punches or get beat up that way", the worst he's said is, that he's not willing to die in the ring.
I kinda think they will to be honest. I dislike Fernando Vargas but he was right about something. When you quit once, it is easier to quit again. Just how I see it, they just need to be in the same situation again and they will fold.

Both guys don't have that mental toughness that some guys have. Seems like I'm hating but I'm not. That's just how I see it.

            You.......hating........no, never!

WARCOTTO is right. If Cotto isn't mentally tough how did he survive the war with Torres, and other tough fights with Corley, Mosley, and Clottey. Sorry but taking plaster to face hurts.

For someone that seems to talk a lot about doing it the right way and mental toughness you sure back a fighter that has no mental toughness. Your favorite fighter was so mentally weak that he needed to encase his glove with plaster to feel like he could fight on even terms with Shane Mosley.

Looked like he quit in the Mayweather fight to me.

Ortiz didn't quit in the Mayweather fight, he lost his cool. Ortiz was way too inexperienced for that fight and got caught up in the moment and frustration. He will probably come back a better fighter because of that fight.

Ortiz makes Cotto have flashbacks of the first Margo fight and knocks his ass out. I guarantee that and i'm putting big bucks on it.
