Because of this, the fight was more exciting and Cotto was able to win 2 rounds as opposed to none. I don't watch Mayweather fights to get excited, I watch him to shut people out and outbox them. He showed in the first 4 rounds and the last 4 rounds, that his legs are fine. He was moving and outboxing Cotto pretty easily from rounds 9-12, if you really have no legs anymore, you can't move like that in the 9th, 10th and championship rounds.

But please, do not make this fight. I rather see Mayweather vs Canelo or Martinez. But neither of those fights are possible for 2012, since both fighters have fights in September. Floyd's options are very low.

Cotto vs Pacquiao is another fight that should not happen. Since Cotto will be forced to come down from his comfort zone of 154 and be weight drained against the catchweight king.

There's no need to pin it on Manny. He has a pretty big team. Maybe they can settle at 147-148, as 2-3 pounds should be very good for Cotto to have. Cotto and his team would need to think about it properly.

PS You are a sick creature...is your room plastered with her face too?

      no need to rematch either
he mighta won 4 rds out of the 24 between them
either guy owns him even worse in a rematch
Cotto should just retire, he did ok in his cashout fight
if he tries again he'll be a punching bag

Am sure they would both be interested in a rematch especially when they pull in good numbers on PPV.

I'd like to see Cotto and Martinez, but I know that makes zero sense for Miguel. I just think it would be a cool fight.

Bull crap Golden Boy! How much is numerous, and you really think Cotto was Mayweather's toughest fight? His toughest fight was against Jose Luis Castillo. No need for a rematch cause we all know Cotto does not pull the trigger and just likes to coast through the rounds. Boxing is losing a lot of credibility now days due to sorry match ups. Let Canelo test his skills already and be a big boy, make the Pac vs Gay fight. Cotto is just like Margarito now, just trying to get his last millions. Boxing has lost all integrity!!!!

                  don't think so tbh
Canelo isn't as good as the hype portrays him, but he's not a scrub either
Cotto been at JMW for a while now and still doesn't look strong there
                  his chin isn't much either
wouldn't be surprised to see Alvarez KO him

I got respect for Cotto and the performance he put up but dude won 3 rds and 4 would be pushing it.

I'd rather see him vs. new blood like Canelo or Martinez. Rematches with either are unecessary.
