Sammy Gutierrez (31-7-2, 21KOs) will be looking for revenge on June 9th in Chihuahua, Mexico. He will face Armando Torres (18-9, 13KOs) for the WBC's silver junior flyweight championship. This past December in Puebla, Torres stunned the local crowd by stopping Gutierrez in eight rounds to capture the silve belt. Prior to that loss, the durable Gutierrez had only suffered one other TKO defeat, to top fighter Nkosinathi Joyi in 2008.
