Comments Thread For: Kayode Furious, Vows To KO Antonio Tarver in Five

Lateef Kayode will headline a rare quadruple fight card presented by Showtime when he takes on Antonio Tarver for the IBO Cruiserweight championship on June 2nd at the Home Depot Center. There is an underlying story as Kayode has taken offense to Tarver’s criticism of him in the past. Tarver who also works as a commentator for Showtime and has called some of Kayode’s recent fights, has been critical of Kayode’s performances in the ring.

Kayode isn't great, but he is way better now than Danny Green. Kayode is going to smash Tarver. Absolutely smash him.

Kayode is falling into the trap - Tarver has pedigree / skills - kayode is relying on his punching power and strength, the only way you beat tarver is by setting him up, and kayode does not have the patience to do that. tarver is a sneaky lefty that will talk shyt and humiliate kayode,

really hope Tarver gets beaten, sick of this guy hanging around
he's good on commentary, but just don't like him in the ring
been yrs since he did anything relevant
don't know much about Kayode, but he's strong enough to win
Tarver isn't completely shot, but his sell by date is up
