Well all that really matters is what's going on between the guys fighting and their sides. I didn't know either until Merchant spoke about it that Floyd offered Pac 60-40. I don't know what the revenue per fight would make the split, but that's the fairest way to do it. I do think Floyd has generated more per fight hands down, it's just a matter of how much.

Bob Arum already clarified that 50-50 or that 45-45 and the winner gets the last 10 is all that's possible. And Bob Arum also clarified when the split issue came up, that the fight wasn't possible for May 5th anyway. So it couldn't have even happened on May 5th anyway.

I'm just sick of it. Let who ever generates more revenue per fight get that much more money from the split.

I'm with you here. I have no problem with Floyd getting a bigger slice of the ppv profits if when it comes down to it he generates more revenue than Pac. This whole 100/00 ppv split is obvious a fighter killer though. How anyone who's with Floyd on this is beyond me!

Any idea how Floyd is in the position to offer Pac his own guarantee/purse of $40mil? Isnt this Arums job?

Man, how did it become split issues? Just months ago for three straight years Mr Floyd was saying, "No test, no fight." Now we have this. One of his demands now is Arum has to disappear first. He and his worshippers seem to imply that without Arum in the picture Pacman will accept his insulting offer. In other words, he wants to take over ripping off Pac.

Is Schaefer even sure that with all these elaborate accounting process the fight would happen? Did he even consulted with Floyd about this and is he sure Floyd would be amenable to such invasion of privacy?

Ask yourself if you're Pacquiao or Mayweather, would accept anything less than 50%???

Note: Flommos are excluded to answer!

            50/50 IS THE FAIREST DEAL!

If you want higher than 50%, then you must take 45/45 and the winner get the 10%...
That is if you have the balls!

makes perfect sense...i believe pac or arum had mentioned this a while back but floyd rejected the proposition...sucks

Nobody can help, bro. The issue is not about the money, testing, etc.

The issue is about FEAR. Fear of losing.

If this fight won't happen, there's only one person to blame! And it's no other FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR.!

He can use Arum as scapegoat... but at the end of the day boxing fans knows!

Are you ****ing kidding me? De la Hoya never even sniffed 2 million buys by himself. You don't do those kind of numbers with only 1 attraction. A lot of the reason that that PPV did so well is because of Floyd's skills, but also because of how much trash he talked leading up to the fight.

I know you're a Pacquiao fan, but at least ATTEMPT to use your brain.
For the Oscar fight, Floyd didn't get the higher percentage .... so you need to take that into account.

The Floyd vs Cotto fight had several fighters that helped generate that money as well .... Canelo, Cotto & Mosley. Even Shaefer admitted that Canelo brought a lot of people in and for sure Cotto did as well.

Max Kellerman said this yesterday. If we were to find out that Manny generated more money, Floyd would have never gone for anything less than 50% and I agree!
