Marquez hates anyone picking fights for him. He picks his own fights without external influences. Even presenting a list irritates him. All those names in the list might not even be on his radar screen.

I cant believe tru boxing fans wud rathr see Judah over Morales - at least Morales will giv 100% unlike Judah. plus Marquez v Morales wraps up the great era of featherweights (who are now all closer to weltrweights) with Pac, Barrera, Marquez and Morales, and Marquez v Morales is the only one that never happnd

Morales is way past it. This fight would have been great a couple of years ago, but right now its pointless.

I was hoping he'd fight Rios.

PAC gets a pass for facing Marg, Oscar, Diaz etc, Marquez gets a pass to do the last remaining fight that would connect the 'featherweight four'.

Why didn't Morales fight Marquez in his prime? Barrera didn't either. Both waited for Marquez to age. Marquez is still going. Karma!

I think its the other way round. Barrera started in 1989. while he was taking Morales and Hameds unbeaten records Marquez was losing to John and Norwood. Marquez only took teh Barrera fight once MAB looked washed up vs Jaurez. Morales back in the day would not have lost to teh guys who were beating Marquez. Erik beat Pac 1st time but Marquez has failed in 3 attempts.

Pointless if the fight happens now. Proves nothing.
