It could get close if promoted the correct way. It really doesn't need to do a million to be very impressive anyways just getting fairly close would be a huge success.

What would they lay out in guerentess maybe 16 million 8 for each. Or 10 for Cotto and 6 for Canelo or whatever

750k*55=41,250,000

So in just PPV revenue it will be between those number probably closer to the top one because who would buy in sd. Split the difference and call it 45 million in just PPV revenue, so even if the fighters get 45% of that money that would be over 20 million easily covering their guerentees without even looking at other revenue

I dont know if you guys noticed..but the last few fights that floyd has had canelo has been in the undercard. NOBODY cares about floyd..the only reason the ppv buy are high is because of canelo. MEXICANS are the majority in boxing, they dont like watching guys running around. Lets see how many buys floyd will have wothout a MEXICAN on his card. CANELO VS COTTO will EASILY do 1.5 mil. CANELO has a whole country behind him, floyd has a few hundred thousand ppl.

nah.....maybe up to 900k, but even that is being optimistic. I have to say somewhere around 700k. If canelo learns english overnight, then there's a shot at 1 mil.

Are you ppl kidding me?? Sure Canelo may still be a growing brand, but he is already a HUGE draw in Mexico!! And Cotto has always been very popular amongst Mexican fans and of course he's gonna have PR fans in the palm of his hand! Book this match, and stage it in Mexico!!
