Khan won't risk his close position to be the next cannon fodder for Mayweather. Judging from Khan's reluctance, Prescott may have his number.Comment

Just more evidence that Khan continues to duck the man who became his daddy.Leon Margules, co-promoter of junior welterweight contender Breidis Prescott (25-4, 20KOs), advised BoxingScene.com that his fighter was willing to step in on short-notice to fight Amir Khan (26-2, 18KOs) on May 19th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Martinez might as well rematch Margarito because of their history.
A fight with fighter A with good history vs fighter B with bad history doesn't make any sense to me.
Reminds me of a couple on their first date.

Joe: Don't worry. I have no future.

You think martinez wouldn't fight Margarito if he kept calling him out ALL THE TIME?Martinez might as well rematch Margarito because of their history.

Apples and bananas.
Margarito already beat Martinez. Therefore, Martinez should be the caller. So I have no problem Margarito not calling out Martinez. He beat him already.
In contrast,
Prescott already beat Khan. Khan is supposed to be the caller. Khan is not interested. Prescott is looking like an idiot and a beggar who can't make it on his own.

Yeah, why not? Not as a title defense or anything, but as a quick easy side fight, if I were Martinez Id go beat the **** out of Margarito real quick to avenge an old loss. Margarito would be a cakewalk for him at this point.Martinez might as well rematch Margarito because of their history.
