  • History will prove Taylor will never come close to Hopkin's legacy

You look at all that Hopkins has acomplished and i guarentee when you look back at Hopkins career and look back at Taylor's (in the next 10-20 years of course), Hopkins is the one who will be remembered by boxing historians. Just remember my words. My prediction.

Taylor's only two really significant wins are disputed and always will be.

This is dumb. How can you talk about history or Taylor's significant wins when he is just getting started and has many years ahead of him?

What if he beats Winky, Jeff Lacy and whoever becomes the next big thing? It is entirely too early to talk about Taylor's legacy or lack there of.

Basically, you are acting the same way you did when Jones lost, like a sore loser.

yeah, it wont equal up . Only because taylor has this weird thing for wanting to fight good opponents unlike hopkins. Taylor already has more respect from me then hopkins, for the simple fact that he was willing to fight a good fighter that early in his career. And he won to.

That's my whole point. If he does fight and beat Wright or Lacy, he'd earn more respect from me. Point being, as of now, Taylor does not really deserve all the praise he's getting for two disputed victories.

Basically, you're a biased Taylor fan.

Hopkins may be old, but Taylor hasn't reached his full potential yet either.

This is a ridiculous last effort for Hopkins fans to gain any leverage over Taylor whatsoever, and it's ****ing pathetic. Taylor is undefeated with TWO victories over Bernard Hopkins. I don't think a career can start out as promising as that. If Taylor beats Wright and defends his title for a while, a case will definitely be made that he is the greatest middleweight ever.

Okay, and on that point, i might be able to agree there. Maybe i haven't seen everything from Taylor yet. Maybe he does have potential to get even better. I hope this is true. But if the kid is gonna parade around with those titles forever, i better start to see himself giving himself A's on his gradecard after his fights real soon and with good reason.
