Not only Chico, but think of former Duke basketball star Jayson Williams who was basically in line to get a 100 million dollar contract and lost it all after injuring himself in an accident. I would never ride a motorcycle if I were a professional athlete, I mean you have your whole post-boxing career for that if that is what you really want to do, why be selfish, and risk not having that money to take care of your family.Last edited by La_Vibora; 05-12-2012, 02:23 AM.Comment

Poor Anthony. Just when his career was back on track. I hope he males a speedy and full recovery.Comment

Damn Anthony is very unlucky. First cancer and now this.
Yeah motorcycles are dangerous but the risk of getting killed in the ring or having permanent brain damage is even higher I think.Comment

thinking evidently isn't your strong point. try finding out in future, look up some numbers.Comment

These kids have bad luck, wish him a speedy recovery and hope his health is intact..But jeez has there ever been a family with worst luck in boxing??The Peterson's I guess, but they made their own beds..The Dirrell's are just unlucky...Comment

2 Dirrell's
seems like most people can't don't see the ANTHONY before the DIRRELL. It even says in the thread that Andre is speaking about his little brother. I know there names sound similar but i believe a lot of people think Andre and Anthony are the same person. Anthony was not in the super six. Andre was.Comment

Why even take that risk when your an athlete and your Arms and Legs is the way you make a living
but hopefully he recovers fully...but this is yet another setback in his career which is unfortunate because he was just starting to make noise in that DivisionComment
