A boxing powerhouse boasting 10 Ring ranked fighters, the Philippines is outgunned in this department only by the US (33) and Mexico (27), who seem to remain untouchable at the top of boxing’s tree, and Japan and the UK, who have 16 and 12 respectively. So expecting the next next Pacquiao to come from their country is perhaps not unreasonable, even if they already have the next one.
