Foreman - Tyson (it would have been HUGE)

      Foreman - Holmes

Wlad - Lewis (everyone knew it was the biggest legit fight out there (tyson-lewis was worth more $$), but it only happened in a movie)

Hamed-JMM, probably not a lot of money in it but boxing fans wanted it. They were both at 126 for along time too where as barrera/morales were at 122 for a while

I know Mosley/Trinidad was already mentioned (and rightfully so) but Tito Trinidad Vs Ike Quartey as well as Tito Trinidad Vs Terry Norris deserves honorably mention...

I have seen it happen many times. Bowe ducked Lewis and never fought Tyson. Tyson and Lewis didn't fight until they were 37 years old. Alex Arguello and Duran never fought.Duran and Benitez never fought Pryor. Oscar avoided Winky at 154. Jose Napoles was the #1 lightweight in the world and was turned down in spite of top money offers by Carlos Ortiz and Ismael Laguna and had to go to 147 to win a tittle. Terry Norris begged Whitaker to defend his 147lb tittle against him for years but Whitaker avoided him. Trinidad try hard to get a shot at Norris and his 154lb tittle but Norris avoided that fight. I'll stop there but there were lots of times when great or near great fighters in the same weight class never fought through out history.

Mosley-Trinidad and Bowe-Lewis are by far the biggest fights that weren't made in recent memory. Morales-Marquez in the Mid 2000's deserves mention as well.

Sugar Ray Robinson - Charley Burley

Robinson said he was too pretty to fight Burley.

He'd be strung up for that today.

chris john has been begging for gamboa to fight him.. but gamboa decided to move up to avoid him....chris john is p4p #1 since he schooled marquez and marquez schooled pacquiao.
