Just Roach being Roach. A two faced, doubled standard having c**t!

Remember when he thought Margarita didn't know about the plaster in his wraps. Gave him the benefit of the doubt because he thought he might be training him. But when Margarito fought pac, Roach turned 180 and basically said he was a cheater.

That is very interesting. I guess sometimes it takes time for everyone to come around. Maybe now Roach has fully come around and sees the error of his prior ways.

Absolutely and we know that Roach is well known to contradict himself (much like Mayweather). This is a great example of that.

          Floyd Mayweather quotes:

          1. "Pacquiao, you're next". "I've never said Pacquiao was next".

          2. "I'm concerned about my health". "Cotto, I'm ready to die in the ring".

This is true, Mayweather has contradicted himself. But for the last 2 and a half years, to compare what Floyd's done (contradicting wise) to that of Team Pac is night and day.

LOL at those quotes. But yeah, everybody contradicts themselves as it suits them.

With regards to doping and PEDs though, the sport needs to either step up and try and get rid of them or just let everyone slide like the NFL. Everyone does them or nobody. It is still tricky though, because there are innovations all the time and people are getting around the testing.

Oh yea, I wasn't necessarily comparing the two. Just brought it up when I mentioned Roach. Roach has been very contradictory in regards to the whole testing stuff since late 2009. I remember he talked about how they could test Manny with ANY kind of testing out there and he would pass. Only to come back and say that they would ONLY do what the commission said in regards to testing. Which was laughable.

Truthfully you shouldn't be suprised at the lack of responses. Site is full of clowns and people who just want to see certain people shine instead the whole sport of boxing shining.

I'm a Pacquiao fan and Roac supporter and i agree that what Roach said was dumb.

Lets hope what has happened with Peterson will change his tune, because testing is needed. On every top fighter

I don't understand why this was ever an issue. We know the current testing is not adequate. There is no reason why the best possible testing should not be used whenever possible

I noticed that many of the "Commission Testing Only" advocates have gone eerily silent.

                      http://www.************.com/2012/01/...-for-pacquiao/

Roach told the examiner.com “Why do we have to go by the fighter’s [Mayweather] request? Why can’t we go by the commission rules? The commission is doing a good job. They’ve been doing it for a long time and we are willing to do anything the commission asks us. Floyd Mayweather, he doesn’t make the rules of boxing. Who is he? All of a sudden he is a rule maker. We are willing to go with any commission in the world. We will do any test there is.”
They changed stances to "Mayweather should VADA test all year!!!"
