i've researched this and it's boxer vs puncher end of story. Don't expect kell to fight the top guys yet, but dam. This could be seen as a step back from even hatton lol. kell should have been chompin at the bit to get paulie in the ring and takin his new title. That would be way more of a 50-50 fight than this. peace ya'll

First go and "research" the level of opposition he's faced before you start hyping him up.

Fair enough he's stopped 7 of his last 8 but they weren't exactly top class opposition. On top of that he's not even ranked in the top 15 by any major organisation apart from the IBF.

This is a title eliminator so it's a legit fight and it's not like Kel has faced anyone better. But a KO ratio of 52% doesn't make you a puncher.

Brook vs Carson Jones is a 50-50. I tilt toward Jones. Too many people are wined, dined, and seduced by unbeaten records. Either way, Brook will be taken to hell and back if he manages to win.

NOT Correct! There are many fighters with solid power who have learned how to throw punches more correctly and land with power. Jessie Magdaleno has an average KO% but hit very hard and upped his KO's by learning how to pressure opponents. There are also overprotected fighters with built up KO records that failed at the higher levels. See Tyrone Brunson as an example.

Carson Jones is the best opponent Brook has faced so far in his career.

Stop looking at his KO ratio on BoxRec, only 10 people have gone the distance with Jones in his 34 wins. His KO ratio is closer to 75%.

His best wins are better than Brook's best wins.

The title can say Kell Brook's full name, but not Carson Jones. Just to waste some ones time for they can click it and think it's Mike Jones. With my slow internet, this is really really annoying.

                1. Go look at the record of the guys he`s fought in his last 8 or so fights
                2. Go look at the amount of times he was fed as an opponent to some young prospect and ended up spoiling the card
                3. Who gives a **** ass what any sanctioing body ranks any fighter. Thats all about relationships and money
Lastly, all I said is he is hungry, has pop, and is avoided. In addition its 50/50. If you consider that "hype" thats on you.

Overlook him at your own peril.
