Dawson has said for years and years that he could make 168 no problem, the first time I heard him say it was back in 07 against Adamek. He's fought at MW a couple of times in his career.
Dawson says a lot of things, I don't believe him. He will feel the affects of draining to 168. A catchweight at 173 would be appropriate.
A catchweight is more appropriate since both fighters are campaigning in different divisions. If Ward wins he doesn't want to stay at LHW, if Dawson wins he doesn't want stay at 168.
