No lots of guys get away with way worse. Its not even debatable. So why would Khan get two points deducted for such a minor infraction. I don't see whats so hard to understand. Refereeing should be consistent. There shouldn't be two sets of standards. Is this difficult to comprehend?
Has Khan gained your respect?

Its a perfectly valid parallel because other fighters should not be held to different standards in the ring. If Khan had a lack of respect for the rules, then others **** their leg and piss on them yet still get away with it. What Khan did in that fight was in no way a flagrant disregard for the rules, it was barely worth pulling up for, let alone taking TWO points away including in the 12th round...lol wut. It wouldn't even be noticed in other fights.
Khan felt he got shafted and spoke up about it. I assume you would bend over n take it....i guess its down to the individual.

Khan is a professional boxer, who risks his life every time he steps in the ring..What's not to respect about the guy,I for one respect him..Like him him as a fighter,yes...Like him as far as who he portrays himself as,not so much...Last edited by Rome-By-Ko; 05-10-2012, 06:13 PM.Comment

Until there's a governing body in place that oversees boxing as a whole, there will always be inconsistencies in a singular sport such as boxing. Hence the reason why judges always see (and score) fights differently. It's an individual thing. Same goes for refereeing. And until there's a governing body, it will continue. No use b*tching about it because it's been this way for decades and it's never going to change. No lots of guys get away with way worse. Its not even debatable. Khan deserved the deductions, name another fight with pushing like Khan was doing were there was not a point deduction...Oh wait you won't be able to because the fight does not exist..The point deductions were valid, the peds were not...No lots of guys get away with way worse. It's really funny seeing how people burn when it comes to Khan. He has a real special group of haters, i have to say. There's something else deep down that causes their inner parts to burn though.
In regards to the OP, my opinion is i look at Khan the same way as i did before. ie i couldn't give a flying giraffes left testicle how he is outside of the ring, just like i dont with any other fighter, if it doesn't have anything to do with Boxing i dont give a flying ****.
People hate Khan because he is supposedly arrogant and whatnot. Why do you care?????
That's the problem with modern day Boxing fans, we've become a bunch of emotional b1tches. ''Oooh they say this on their twitter page and that'' ''oooh it burns to see them buy a new watch'' like a bunch of b1tches.
Stick to the Boxing you emotional girls, why do you care how they are outside of the ring. Are you a ****ing Boxing fan or a stalker?
Seriously i cant understand it. *****s cry over what they do outside of the ring, as long as they offer something to the sport we love and do the buisness inside the ring, try telling yourself to stop crying about how they are outside of the ring, and that goes for every single boxer out there, not just Khan.Comment

Refs like Smoger are on record that they wouldn't even have deducted one point never mind two.
Lets face it Khan fought Lamont in his backyard, with a dodgy home town ref, had some clown handle the scorecards without no authorisation and on top of that 5hit he was fighting a guy on PEDs and still manged to get a close SD.Comment

No use complaining about irregular judging and officiating??????Until there's a governing body in place that oversees boxing as a whole, there will always be inconsistencies in a singular sport such as boxing.
