Khan showed where he was as a boxer when he fought Maidana. He boxed cleverly for 6 rounds and got tired and let Maidana back into the fight. He did the exact same thing with Peterson. If Khan doesn't get iced like he did by Prescott, he is destined to fail due to conditioning issues when he steps up in class. Thats why I laugh when people mention him against a Mayweather or Pacquiao.

I lost a lot of respect for Khan aftet his cry baby antics AFTER the fight. The way he carried on and gave no respect to Peterson was a disgrace and pathetic. I am not into his idea of revisionist history. PEDs were not on the table when he was pulling that Khrap. However my respect for Peterson has gone WAY DOWN after this Synthetic Testosterone issue but it does not validate or vindicate Amir Khan's behaviour post fight.

I am a Khan fan but am starting to dislike him. His family are extremely greedy, and a lot of Pakistani's are like his. Not wanting to soudn racist but that's how I have seen it living in the UK.

He is also very arrogant and in a sideways approach, puts people down.

Khan is a ***in CRY BABY!

It is going to take a lot for me personally to respect him...and he will have to do it IN THE RING! He is has SPEED, but he is AVERAGE at everything else, his defense is awful, he can't fight inside at all, he is a fighter that NEED THINGS TO GO HIS WAY in order for him to look good

it is nothing worse then a fighter that makes excuses and I can tell Khan is going to be one of those guys that will ALWAYS HAVE AN EXCUSES WHEN HE LOSE!

Plus I think it is cowardly that he has no interest in getting revenge over a guy that Knocked You Out in Prescott....but yet he wants to fight Mayweather and he hasn't done anything in the sport of boxing to deserve a shot a Mayweather

WRONG. The test conducted on these fighters that turned positive for peterson was on the first fight.

If Lamont cheated (he probably did) then of course it made a difference in the 1st fight. I thought Khan won by a point anyway.

Not really. He claimed that Peterson had some mafia mystery fix the cards initially. Now it turns out that Peterson took some synthetic soy bean testosterone that the doc says wouldn't help Peterson's athletic performance in the fight.

To me, it looked like Khan had the upper hand but underestimated Peterson and didn't train like he should have and he faded down the stretch and let Lamont pound him to the body.

If Peterson indeed tried to cheat, then that's on Peterson, it has nothing to do with Khan's level of respect.

no he cried like a b1tch and looked for 10000 reasons to have his belts just handed back.if he would have just lost and demanded a rematch and this happened i would have felt differently

I kind of agree...I guess that's my problem with Khan. He talks a big game but as soon as things don't go his way, the world owes him something. It's almost like he thinks he is too good to have bad luck. No one deserves bad luck but fighters get the short end of the stick every day and they deal with it and move on.

I'll try to leave the guy alone now because I said my piece like 20 times but all the dag on threads are about the same stuff, hard to talk about anything else.
