Man this has boring written all over it for casual fans, but it's still a good fight.

I hope it's not at 168, and at least anywhere from 170-175.

The fight should be in Oakland that is the only place it will get a decent crowd.

Should be a good fight, not the most exciting fight but neither guy has much on the table and it is real meaningful.

If he beats him at 175, it's a big win for Ward, a big big win. If it's at 170-174, it's still a really good win but not what it would have been at the full Light Heavyweight limit. If it's at 168, it's a decent win, that's it.

I hope it's at 175 but in the Bay Area.

this is great news, hope it gets done right though. either make it at 168 or 175, this catchweight **** is killing the sport.

its supposed to make big fights happen easier but instead it makes it more difficult bcuz everyones a primadonna *****ing over half a pound and ****. more importantly its taking away even more credibility from the titles.

dawson-ward is such a great fight if its done right so i hope it is. i think it should be in vegas, its such a great fight it belongs in the boxing capital. it will probably be in oakland though, thats were the money is and dawson never had a problem fighting in oponents backyards. i dont mind if thats what happens as long as its at a weight where a title can be on the line without making a mockery of it.

if ward takes dawsons belt at any weight other than 175 it aint legit, to be a LtHW champ you gotta beat the champ at LtHW not some made up bull**** weight where he aint 100%.

I don't have a problem with CW's as long as it doesn't totally hinder the other fighter (Pac-DLH for example). Oscar hadn't been at that weight in 8-9 years, he was a dead man in the ring. And I don't mind CW's but they should never be for titles. If it's at a CW, just make it a non-title fight.

I hope it gets done for either a CW from 170-174, or just at 175. I don't see why Ward wouldn't just want to do it at 175. And at the same time, Dawson shouldn't have said he'd come down to 168. He should have said the lowest he'd go is like 171/172.

I don't want it at a catchweight. Either make it for Ward's belt at 168, or make it for Dawson's belt at 175.

CW is appropriate in this case.

Ward beats him if Dawson doesn't show up to fight. Chad just seems to act like he doesn't want to be there lately.
