**** it. we all know who the best fighters are. the belts are pretty pointless these days anyway, ring magazine's were just as pointless before this rule change that i didn't bother reading. Eventually they will either die out or be ignored completely

It was last week. Cotto-Mayweather took lead over commenting on it.

I thought Mayweather did a great thing when he challenged Mosley, but refused to pay the WBA fee, saying a belt didn't make him, which is true. Then he had to go and pay the straps fee for his next 2 fights and ruin the great move he did for Mosley

we need fighters to lead the way and stop acting like belts are worthy

Some fighters need them. Some don't. Hopkins without the IBF belt in the 90s would have been way worse off.

all these Belts, and In House Promoters have the Game on the Ropes....
I remember when Louis fought Conn 11, traffic stopped, and everyone got
to a Radio, and the Big Fights, made headlines in every city in the U.S.
The above mentioned problems along with, So Called SUPER Stars, that refuse
to test their Talents against the BEST opponents, are what's KILLING BOXING!!!

Glad you've resigned from the ratings panel, Cliff. I wish all its members had your integrity.

They still list you though - wonder when they'll get round to updating it?
